Aymen Gharbi is an architect and curator based in Tunis. He founded and directs the international light art project INTERFERENCE in Tunis and the international media art project SEE DJERBA in Houmt Souk in partnership with Bettina Pelz.

As an architect, he has been working with the National Institute of Heritage (INP) until 2015. His present activities are dedicated to new approaches for caring and furthering cultural heritage as a sociocultural treasure of Tunisia and the Mediterranean.

As an urban activist, he has a leading part in projects like DOOLESHA, DOORA-FEL-HOUMA and DOOR-WAHDEK.
